Youth Voices: Our Vision for the World
Photography Exhibit
"Pictures bring meaning to my life and the transformation of my community and my country. Though we suffered much by the many years of civil war and the pictures we remember are all negative, but together, we can turn a negative picture into something positive and tell a new and resounding story."

Peace in Focus invites you to attend "Youth Voices: Our Vision for the World," an exhibit of photographs by young people around the world, spanning the US, Africa, and the Caribbean.
Young people need healthy and innovative opportunities to build relationships and life skills, overcome violence, and create social change. Peace in Focus trains under-served young people in photography, media, community leadership, and creative peacebuilding.
Our exhibit and celebration will showcase a selection of photos taken by young photographers in our programs in Boston, Burundi, Liberia, and the Caribbean -- giving us a window into their lives, struggles, and dreams as the present generation of leaders.
This event invites community members interested in photography, youth and community work, and global peace to celebrate youth efforts at creating visible social change.
There will be refreshments, a raffle, and gifts for sale.
All donations will go toward supporting Peace in Focus programs in Boston and abroad.
